You must reinforce the juntunce/mounting box in order to support the weight. It's a relatively easy process and the bracket is about 10 bucks at a local hardware store or amazon. If you are installing brand new then just make sure you attach to a joist with proper hardware

Beautiful bronze features very well constructed piece. Provides plenty of light gives the whole kitchen character and charm. Love it! Delivery was fast easy and although one seeded glass was cracked, one call was all it took for replacing it quickly. The metal bronze finishes are very well made high quality.

This made a dramatic improvement to our kitchen. I added anchors to the four corners to help stabilize it with hanging pans, but it was otherwise fantastic. No strange shadows, and plenty of light. I set it up with a dimmer switch for additional functionality. Highly recommended.
